Land Acknowledgement
Our team at Highland Park Holistic Psychotherapy wishes to acknowledge that our office sits on the stolen land of the Gabrielino and Tongva Nation, previously known as Tovaangar.
We also acknowledge that our history is a testament to the unjust treatment of this Indigenous group, among others that have lived, and have been displaced from, what is now the greater Los Angeles area.
We believe it is essential to both know the history and take steps forward to strengthen the current generation of the Gabrielino and Tongva people.
