She/Her/Hers

As a therapist, my intention is to explore your unique life experience while working through areas where you feel stuck or see unhelpful patterns. My practice is informed by a strong belief that our historical, political, social, and cultural environments influence the way we navigate the world and how we relate to others. I utilize the principles of trauma informed care and harm reduction to ensure a safe environment--free of judgement--where you can work through difficult life experiences. I am trained in EMDR and informed by Internal Family Systems and Somatic Psychology. Using these lenses and modalities, I am here to help you gain deeper understanding and work towards healing with authenticity, humor and directness.

My experience is focused on working with teens, young people and adults impacted by complex forms of trauma including attachment and relational trauma, histories of abuse, systemic trauma, medical trauma and traumatic grief. I have an acute understanding of how these experiences can translate into negative beliefs causing symptoms of depression, anxiety, self-doubt, and loneliness. I am particularly passionate about working with individuals interested in exploring their relationship to substance use through an alternative lens, and co-creating an individualized approach that aligns with your goals whether they include exploration, moderation or sobriety.

A Los Angeles native, I received a Masters in Social Work from USC and a BA in Literary Studies with a focus on postcolonial poetry from Eugene Lang College at the New School. I've spent the last decade working with teenagers, young people and adults impacted by homelessness and substance use as a social worker, case manager, therapist and supervisor. My experience also includes supervising and supporting those in the helping professions with self-care, burnout and secondary trauma.
