Traci Terrill

Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (#138784)

She/Her/Hers

When we’re in pain, we can feel trapped, hopeless, or even stuck. We may seek external validation through our relationships and careers, but it may feel as if something is still missing. It can feel like an unsolvable puzzle, an existential void, or simply an inability to create lasting change.

But there are ways to understand and process what’s happening inside—and that journey can begin here. My goal is to help you gain insight into the challenging patterns and emotions that may have impacted your ability to show up as your most authentic self. Together, we’ll work to grow your self-awareness, challenge your inner critic, deviate from self-destructive thoughts, and improve the quality of your relationships.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with a Master's in Psychology from Pepperdine University, my approach is primarily psychodynamic and relational, but I integrate tools from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) with couples— all firmly grounded in a strong and trusting therapeutic relationship.

I am especially passionate about supporting clients navigating relationship conflict, life transitions, assertive communication, disordered eating, and creative productivity. I have experience helping people with anxiety, depression, Borderline Personality Disorder, and trauma. I’ve worked at Center for Discovery as a primary therapist, in community mental health at the Maple Counseling Center and volunteered at Sojourn Domestic Violence Services, providing support to children sheltering in safe houses.

Finding the right therapist can be challenging and I want to support you in that process—if you’re curious about what working together could look like, schedule a 15-minute consultation with our Care Coordinator to get started.
